Fast and Furious Star, Paul Walker, Dead at Age 40


It is with great sadness that we announce that Paul Walker, Fast and Furious star, has passed away at the age of 40 on Saturday afternoon.  Walker was pronounced dead at the scene of a violent single car accident in Santa Clarita, California after a Porsche Carrera GT he was riding in caught fire after losing control and crashing into a tree.


Paul was attending a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide and was home for the holidays from the set of Fast and Furious 7.


Universal Pictures released a statement on Walker’s death Saturday night:

“All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the FAST AND FURIOUS films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”
