Florida Special | Kevin’s E46 M3

Last June, we took a trip down to Sarasota, Florida to visit a good friend of ours.  During the trip, we ventured over to Orlando for Formula Drift (Seen Here) and spent the weekend hanging out in Sarasota, enjoying the nice weather and views.

It wouldn’t be a complete trip without a glimpse into the local car scene though, right?  Our friend Brandon has linked up with many local car owners since moving down there last year and provided us a gateway to people in the local scene.  This time, in particular, it was with Kevin Parra, owner of this E46 M3.

We met up with Kevin on the roof top of a public parking garage in downtown Sarasota.  In between the brief rain storms we were experiencing, we were able to squeeze in a quick shoot.

One of the most noticeable features of Kevin’s car are the polished CCW LM5T wheels.  They are a 3-piece modular design, constructed of 6061-T6 forged aluminum that is held together by high quality ARP hardware.

A carbon fiber CSL wing and carbon rear diffuser wrapped around a Megan Racing exhaust finish off the rear of the car perfectly.

As you may have already figured, the color of this M3 is not OEM.  The car was actually silver from the factory, but Kevin wanted to change things up and “dipped” it with a custom blended mocha color.  The satin finish gives off a pretty cool look under different lighting configurations.

Kevin’s interior featured carbon fiber wrapped trim pieces and red paddle shifters for the SMG transmission. Finishing off this cockpit are two Corbeau racing buckets mounted in place of the OEM driver and passenger seats.

Kevin’s M3 gave us a good example to go home with, in regards to the Sarasota car scene.  Hopefully we have a chance to get down there again this year and hit up a meet or two during our stay!  Also, a big thank you goes out to our friend, Brandon Wergelis for providing a place to stay during the trip!
