Black Series: Paul Tran’s GS

VIP Nation

Paul picked up his stock ‘99 GS300 two years ago. He slowly took interest in the Japanese VIP culture, where the scene originated. Later, Paul familiarized himself with the Liberty-VIP crew and the mod bug quickly caught on.

The plan was to create an aggressive yet clean look. A TTE lip compliments the front bumper, along with the LS460 retrofitted headlights. The front grille is 1 of 3 in the U.S. imported from Japan.

Paul also had the rear quarter panels flared and radiused to accustom the wide wheels. He’s sitting on a set of custom built 18×10.5 and 18×11.5 Leon Hardiritt Ordens, sourced from CZWheels. Formerly on coilovers, Paul swapped to UAS air bags + BC coils in order to achieve the look he wanted.

Other modifications include: Wood grain steering wheel, chrome door handles, chrome trunk bar, LED taillights, roof lip, JDM window visors, 20% tint, Pioneer in-dash, HKS hi-power exhaust, and (2) 12” subwoofers in the trunk.

Paul plans to make some moderate changes for next year. As for now, look out for his GS around the city. It’s a daily driven car.
